An Iconic Brand: Amina Muaddi
Since her initial debut in 2017, Amina Muaddi has built an empire of unique luxury shoes, handbags, and jewelry. The Jordanian-Romanian fashion designer isn’t afraid to break the rules with her signature pyramidal heels, transparent pumps and crystal-embellished sling-backs. In 2019, Vogue named the 30-something fashionista the “Best Footwear Designer of the Year,” — and the “it” girls of Hollywood seemed to unanimously agree. Rihanna wore a pair of the designer’s shoes for her Savage x Fenty show before ultimately partnering with Muaddi for two successful surprise collaborations. Kendall Jenner is another loyal cult follower, among many other fashion-forward celebrities. Muaddi’s reach is expansive, and her designs have made a true footprint on the fashion world.
