My bachelorette in Miami was one of the absolute highlights of my wedding season. While I take zero credit for planning or executing this dream weekend, I hope this post can help another bridal party make their friend or sister feel as celebrated and loved as I did. My sisters and best friends truly poured their hearts and souls into every detail, and Miami did not disappoint!

Miami Bachelorette: What We Did

Boat Trip. We booked a 48 foot Sunseeker through this company and had the best experience. If you’re planning to book a boat, I highly recommend triple checking that the booking company is legitimate; Miami coastguard is strict about illegal charters and even pulled us over in a routine check.

Meals. We had so many great meals during the trip, but two were next level. Our first meal was at Byblos Miami and was by far my favorite of the weekend. Byblos specializes in Eastern Mediterranean cuisine, serving meals family style with a menu filled with unique/delicious cocktails. Another favorite was Moreno’s Cuba. Authentic, flavorful Cuban food, live music, and plenty of outdoor seating — I highly recommend if you’re traveling in a large group!

Day + Nights Out. We had way too much fun during this trip, but two highlights were our night at Freehold and bottomless brunch at Orange Blossom. Definitely check both out!

Skincare White Elephant. In lieu of a traditional lingerie shower, we held a skincare-themed white elephant and had every girl bring their favorite product under $30. I loved this detail and thought it was fun that everyone went home with something new to try (I scored the cutest duo of Drunk Elephant serums!)

Scrapbook. The girls surprised me with the most amazing scrapbook. All of my favorite people – those who were there and the few that couldn’t make it – wrote the sweetest letters and sent photos that seriously touched my soul. It’s one of my most cherished possessions now!

Where We Stayed

We spent the weekend at Nautilus by Arlo, the perfect hotel for our large, active group. The location was incredible, the staff was friendly, and the on-site amenities exceeded our expectations — a great pool, cabanas, lobby bar, etc. In addition to two regular rooms, we rented the Penthouse to have a central meeting place. We were thankful to have a pregame/party location with the city’s heightened Covid regulations.

Bridesmaids Gifts

For me, this weekend was a celebration of my favorite women, and I had so much fun crafting gift baskets for them to supplement the incredible favors my sister had organized. As with any drinking event when you’re over 25, Liquid IV was less of a gift, more a necessity.
