Maygel Coronel’s Veranera Dress has been on my radar for several seasons, but this beauty moved to the top of my wishlist last year thanks to Alex Earle. A funky take on a maxi sheath dress, the Veranera features asymmetrical openings and fun flower-shaped ruffles. A straight neckline adds a sophisticated touch to this cut-out dress, while a simple knot closure completes the look. Crafted from the brand’s signature swim fabric, the Veranera’s slip-on style fits and flatters.

Committed to inclusivity, Maygel Coronel follows a unique size structure with its signature “One-Size Fits All” model. In this article, I’m wearing the “one size” version of the Veranera Dress, designed to fit a range of sizes from US 2 to 10. While Revolve only carries this variation, the Maygel Coronel website also offers “Petit” and “Extended” sizes, which I recommend exploring if you’re on either end of the sizing spectrum.
I’m typically a size 4 in dresses (B cup bust), and I found this dress surprisingly snug. Pulling it over my hips was a struggle, but once on, this Maygel Coronel piece fit like a glove. I had to go braless and opt for nipple petals, as any of the strapless bras I owned showed.
From a length perspective, this dress is tall-girl-approved! At 5’11”, I easily paired it with 2.75-inch heels without compromising the general look. If you’re shorter, I would plan to potentially alter this beauty or opt for a pair of higher heels.
